It is 1683, during the reign of King Louis the XIV of France. With the king off to extend the borders of France, his most trusted noblemen are set in charge of overseeing his country. But a dark threat is rising - a thief known as the Silent Phantom. Dangerous and ever mysterious, the thief mercilessly raids entire villages without ever being captured. Those few who have seen his face and lived to tell the tale can speak of one thing... the white mask. Ever feared and never caught, this Phantom stretches France to the breaking point. Yet all of that changes when the Marquis de Jacques's daughter, Aria, is robbed on a lonely forest road. As time goes on, this woman begins to change the Silent Phantom. Yet at cost must mercy come? ********* Though featured on @MichellePak's account, this book is written by Emma Harrison.

The Four

There used to be a time where the world feared Locatlie. This time was merely decades ago. They thought that the Locatlie family was untouchable, they couldn't come near anyone anymore after the War of hearts. But the people that lived through the War of Hearts got soft, they either died or forgot it happened in the first place. Their children got children and those children forgot whom they were dealing with. Nobody thought that anybody could compete with Queen Julia. The queen whom brought down nations. Until I came along. You think Julia had it rough? Pfft. Her life was a fucking cake walk compared to mine- but lets not get ahead of the story. Julia might be the queen that brought down the nations, but I was the one that made them beg for mercy while burned them all to the ground. Important information: You can read this story without reading the Locatlie series, but it will spoil the Locatlie series for you. If you like books that close off chapters and you like reading long stories, read the Locatlie series first. :) Warning: This story contains physical abuse, mental abuse and sexual abuse.
