"Would you ever leave me?" I speak gently, yet scared of what he may say
I suddenly felt his soft warm hand slowly caress my cheek. My gaze slowly starts lifting up towards his ocean blue eyes which soften as he hears my words which were carried by the wind that reached his ears.
He speaks to me with such love in his tone that I almost swoon. "Not in a million years princess" and just like that I am reassured with just some few meaningful simple words.
"You will always be my Winter, love"
Little did I know that he would slip away from my delicate heart. Away from the girl who was healing from her past that had hope glistening in her love-struck eyes.
