The Black Lantern

Gwen Smith is poor and homeless so when she finds the lantern on the side of the rode she thinks it is a real peice of luck. The only weird thing about this lantern is that the lantern is black. Gwen suspects that it is just because that the lantern was rusted and old. She makes some wishes and doesn't realise that she is turning more and more evil as she continues the wishes. Greed and hunger for popularity and revenge quickly takes over as she realises she could use that lantern to her use. Gwen never suspected that the genie that kindly granted her wishes to be able to use it against her. Gwens friends realises that the genie had something dark about him. The way he talked.. the way he laughed and smiled.. it was all too suspicious. So when they met Sarah, the quiet girl with some amazing powers, she quickly agreed to help. When Sarah figures out what is really going on, the Gwen had used 18 of her 20 wishes. Each wish the genie granted, the more stronger he got and more closer he got to his freedom. When wish 19 was completed, the genie was as powerful as ever. Can Gwen realise that this genie was deadly serious about taking over the world in time or will it be too late?
