and deceiving
so why would I want to be in love
If it's only going to break my heart?

I'm a Devil
and I can't love
I cause pain
unhappiness
grief
and sorrow
I'm selfish but I'm strong
I wont let my walls down
not to someone,
not to anyone
even if an Angel came down
I won't break down.

Throughout my childhood days, I'm always wondering about the true meaning behind the word 'love'. I want to know it's depth, and why does that word has so much impact in everyone's lives. The results just made me realize that I will never find my answers through research, observation or experimentation because for every person in this world has their own face, interpretation, and definition about love So, am I. Hello Roses! After a three year hiatus, I am finally back! To the readers of The Rose, I apologize for the not updating the story for a long time - really long time. I was busy at work and school, and so I had to postpone updating it. A family member of mine encouraged me to continue writing the story. She was delighted to see the positive comments you guys left, and no one appreciates it more than I do. It truly makes me happy! Now, I promise you that I will keep you updated with fresh chapters every week to keep the story going. I re-read the entire story, and I found out that there are a lot of things to improve(grammar, scenarios, plot), and so I decided to edit the entire story starting from the very beginning(this occupied most of my time). Whether to express love to opposite sex, jokes on something, songs about letting someone go ~ how does it feel being betrayed by the person you love? Syempre sasabihin nyo na masakit, kasi nagtiwala ka sakanya na iingatan ka pero in the end sasaktan ka lang. This story is about a couple who shared their love to each other. Until that one day, their love came to an end. Yes, they both love each other still but realized they can't be together anymore. Its not that one of them is already committed to someone else and that the other one is on the process of moving on and forgetting their past. Will destiny speak to them that they both need each other? that they are destined to share each other's love in the end despite all the pains they've caused each other?
