NOT ALL OF THE THINGS I WRITE ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Melissa and Chris are for a matter of fact dating in real life, and I will use events that actually happened, but most of the time I will just let my imagination run wild.

It didn't take long for Henry's boss to find out about their little pact, though. With a lot of threats about erasing her memories, she finally came to an agreement that she would work at Junk N' Stuff while also being the social media coordinator for the superheroes. The best surprise about working at Junk N' Stuff was being able to go on missions. As soon as she started working there, rumors started spreading that a new villain was in town, one that no one had ever heard of before. A therapist was breaking up couples, and Henry and Laurel, who had grown almost inseparable since she started working there, wanted to get to the bottom of it. Laurel was slowly finding a purpose for her life, and she actually found friends that made everything brighter. Things never go exactly as planned. Just as quickly as Laurel's life changed for the better, things exploded. They say that it is easy to follow your heart, but Laurel knew better than that. Hearts lied. People lied. "I didn't want a fight." I look down in my lap sadly, "That's one of the reasons why I didn't want to tell you." Chris walks over and sits next to me. His face goes soft and he holds me tenderly in his arms. He brushes the hair out of my face, his fingertips lingering on my skin.
