The world has turned against superhumans. After a terrible, wanton act of destruction by a known superhero, the supers have been forced into hiding. They have formed a city called Haven, far from human civilization, in the hopes of finding some peace ...

Teenager Hal Whittaker cares little for the affairs of superhumans. His days are filled with school and teasing the quiet, nerd Diana Crocious, who never gets a wrong answer. Unfortunately for Hal, when he and Diana are attacked by mysterious assailants, he discovers his powers and becomes a wanted man himself. With the assistance of some experienced superhumans and a set of inexperienced twins, Hal must try and survive while protecting the city of Haven. Will the supers ever be accepted again, or is destruction the only thing they have to look forward to?

City of Masks: Vigilante origins

6 parts Ongoing Mature

Abominations, freaks, monsters; society has forever ostracized those who stand out. And when the discovery of a new mineral leads to people developing supernatural abilities, these "Abnormals" are treated no differently. However in the wake of a catastrophic event that left everyone wondering whether it was the end, everything changed. Now Abnormals are appreciated more than ever as an era of Superheroes was born, inspired by the heroes who saved the World! But this story isn't about those heroes, instead we follow Elliot Campbell, seventeen years later, in the waning years of Superhero popularity. Elliot is your average bystander who struggles everyday to stay above rock bottom, except for one big problem; he is an absolute loser, incapable of making correct decisions. That is until he is offered the power to change the course of his life forever. He could become an Abnormal or even more hopeful he could become a Superhero! Except that the way he would get his powers isn't exactly above board & the people he would be joining are fighting crime outside of the law. Is this the chance he must take to turn his life around or just another BIG mistake in a long long list of them?
