Death whispers in my ear and caresses my cheeks, running his chilling fingers down my spine. --- At 17 years old, Evelina was just getting excited about her senior year of high school. It's supposed to be the year of endings, yet allow new beginnings to rest on the horizon. But all Evelina can see is the most definite end as she is diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer: a rare type of brain tumor that is incurable. But the glass is always half full, right? Not half empty. Optimistic Eve and her transgender brother Gabriel travel the world in a race against the tumor slowly destroying her brain, discovering more than just historic landmarks in the process.
