I'm 15 in 9th grade. Life really isn't really normal around here in Florida. This story is going to be about how I grow and from being the most hated kid to the most popular kid. Mind you this is story a bit fictional.

I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. Listen, I don't have a lot of time so here's a run through. My names Delextra Thunder and I always thought I was normal. I didn't have any powers even though I attended Ms.Adelines Middle School For The Super Powered. That is until my 8th grade year was turned upside down by an ex-superhero that asks for my help. A storm is coming to Canyon City, and they need some thunder to protect them. So me, along with a few other super powered kids, are starting a rebelion. When a weak superhero meets a morally grey supervillain, who shall triumph? The answer may be something none of them had ever expected. Lol this is my story! It is definitely cringey because I'm bad at dialogue, and the running gag of the story is that I will use every conceivable romantic trope. Life is hard, isn't it? This fact is something that people never get tired of talking about. Discovering ourselves is something we take our whole lives to completely do. In the end, the goal is always to be happy, despite all the hard stuff, as this wonderful and strong person we've been working so hard to become. Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker. "Rescued by villains, who knew?" I say. "Villains rescue fellow villains," Joker says. "Sounds funny coming from you," I scoff. "Aww, is that the way you should treat your saviors?" Joker teases. "I could've taken them," I scoff. "Why did you save me?" "We watched you take out the last group of thugs," Harley says. "We've been looking for a protégé, sorta like how Batsy has that sidekick, Robin, was it?" Joker grins. "We like you. You're funny." ...
