Once upon a time, Royals roamed the earth freely and in great numbers. Their power had every wolf, even the toughest of rogues, bowing down to them in respect. They held power over every wolf and could control any Alpha with a single command. The Royals were beautiful and pure, mates only of the finest were rewarded to them by the Great Goddess of the Moon, Lithia. Banquets were held in every Lycan community in their honor and no wolf dared to be left out of the Blue Moon Celestial Celebration when the Royals graced them with their presence. Their marks were of tantalizing tattoos of the finest silver, a single crown graced their foreheads and swirling masses of floral, sadistic designs covered nearly their whole bodies even in their weakened mortal form.
A dark shadow loomed upon them one night as they slept and soon, every Royal was slaughtered mercilessly by the mightiest of cowards – the Succubus. They were jealous of the energy that these creatures held and wished it their own. The Succubus Counsel collided with their male counter part, the Incubus, and ordered the horrifying massacre of the Royals.
Sixteen years later and the Succubus are informed that a single remaining Royal has been found and they are appalled to know that the dominating gene had been passed on. Little had the Succubus and Incubus known that the Royals evolve with the amount of danger that proceeds them and that this Royal may be the hardest to defeat yet.
