Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.

The Rescuer's MC Bk 6

22 parts Complete Mature

Ace spent time in Iraq and came home with a bad case of PTSD. If it hadn't been for Prez and the men he now calls brothers, Ace would more than likely have ended up in a mental institution somewhere. He still had "war zone" episode but so long as he took his medication, they were not as frequent. Dot had spent the last 5 years on one of the most powerful destroyers in the US Navy as one of only a few women with over 200 men. She had worked hard to earn her rank of Captain but she was getting burned out. When the message had come through that her only sister had been killed in a car accident and that her niece and nephew needed her, she hadn't hesitated for a second. Thankful that Rear Admiral Daniels had been on board when the message came through, he pushed the paperwork through for her to be airlifted back to the mainland and she "retired" from service with her rank and benefits in place. An 11 hour plane ride from there to New York, several hours waiting for a connecting flight and then a 4 hour plane ride to Lexington had been exhausting but nothing could have prepared her the gorgeous hunk of man who was standing at the foot of the stairs when she entered the Rescuer's clubhouse!
