"VIOLET!" He screamed desperately, tearing through the trees. "Violet, where are you?" I could smell his despair. His pounding heartbeat thudded in my ears. "Violet, please! If you're out there, answer me!" 

Silence was the only thing that answered him. 

He collapsed to his knees, covering his dirt covered face. His sobs broke my heart. I wanted so desperately to go to him- but that was impossible. I'd only hurt him more.

"How could you leave me here!" He screamed to the sky. "How could you leave me alone? I-I thought I meant something to you?" he took a ragged breath. "You told me you'd never leave me here! You'd take me with you. We'd be together! You said so!"  

I couldn't stop myself-my self control was gone. Instinct took over, leaving only what I truly was.

Jumping swiftly down from the tree branch, I landed down beside him, cupping his tear streaked cheek in my hand. I peered into his blue eyes, seeing his soul. He'd bared his soul to me. I told him not to. I tried to warn him to stay away. Now it was too late. "Always." I whispered, before taking his head between my hands and twisting abruptly to the left.All Rights Reserved

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. I squealed as the snow fell into my collar and down my back. I wiggled trying to get it to pass through my coat and drop out the bottom. I turned around with a glare on my face. My father stood facing me with a smug grin. Again, I attempted to stomp into the house when suddenly, my mother jumped out at me out of no where and pelted snowballs at my entire body, I noticed through the chaos my big sister was also helping her. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.

Her vision blurry, eyes teary, ears ringing, as her head starts buzzing from the hard impact. She watches, as the red shining droplet falls and taints everything in its own darkness. Grabbing a tree, she stands up painfully slow with tears running down her face uncontrollably. She takes a step towards him and sits on his torso, as she wails for everything happened to him and for everything she could have had, but now can't. To the Gods, for cursing her with her damned destiny. He slowly cups her face, and joins their heads released from the powers unknown to her, as he comforts her, "Don't worry, we will be over this, together." Her sobs turns quiet, just when suddenly again his body jerk back in same position, as she apologize, "Sorry, but I can't be selfish enough, not for you, for me and for us." As she slams her fisted kuckles down his head again and again.

One" he said putting his lips to my ear "no" I whimpered and he looked at me. "I-I'll do it" I whispered and he nodded letting me go.
