"I slipped my black hoodie over my bloodstained shirt. I pulled the hood over my head, and I crouched slightly as I crept into the shadows cast by the tall dark trees under the moon. The only sound I heard was my breathing. My footsteps were silent as I glided through the dark like a ninja.
Michael shot out his arm in a silent command to halt, and I held my breath as I heard a car engine running quietly. Michael's expression was very plain and emotionless, but I could see a glint of anger and slight worry that told me it was Luke's gang. He was right after all. They did find us."
