Elizabeth Knight is a soon to be first year student at Solaris-School for the Gifted. Every few years students from all over are chosen at the age of eighteen to enter. They stay for four years and when they return home, they are the new 'gifted' of each generation. These students become all sorts of wonderful things in society, including heroes .Though Elizabeth is not so sure she is cut out to be gifted. From meeting her roommate in the dorms, to the orientation ceremony where they publicly name your destined gift; Elizabeth may just be in for the ride of her life. Not to forget that the school is held in a separate dimension.
