Britney is following in her older sister's footsteps. Picking up the broken pieces of her once amazing high school (that crumbled to pieces shortly after her sister left) Britney is also cleaning out the garbage...that being all the emo kids nerds etc. She starts with all of the gay couples at school. She stops right in her tracks when her older sister Tiffany comes out of the closet. Britney has always been disgusted by gay people but what is she to do now when her role model is one of them? She has to take a step back and be in her sister's shoes.

Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak.
