Castiel always surrounded himself with good company, and tried to avoid troublemakers as much as possible. That was, until he was paired up with Dean Winchester, the notorious bad boy of the school. But it would seem he caught someone else's eyes as well. Suffice it to say, Castiel's life changes after a particular incident.
