"You've never seen Titanic?"
"Uh, no."
He smiled again and looked at me like he knew something I didn't.
"You will."
Lee Ellis could have walked away and hung out in the ferry's lounge for the next hour and a half boat ride. But she decided it was worth staying with Jack Peters, even though it might mean the occasional unclear movie reference and mild seasickness. She took the risk, learning to look at things like Jack, who might not be so bad after all.

Mermaids, beaches, fairies! this place is awesome. someone then snatched the book out my hands. "Mermaids? what is this crap?" I looked up to see Cynthia and her clique. My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school.
