Three years ago Mckenzie Reid experienced what it was to have her heart broken.
For three years now she has shunned all potential for romance. She learnt a hard lesson about how to not be naive and foolish. Now she has her priorities straight. She lives to work and is damn good at it too. There's no time for dating , or frivolity or any of that other nonsense.

When her all work and no play lifestyle finally catches up with her and she suffers a crippling panic attack she is outraged to find that both her work and her family have put their foot down. Mckenzie is forced to take personal leave and "relax".

She doesn't know the meaning of the word.

Knowing McKenzie is stubborn and likely to try and push herself back into work before she is ready her mother and best friend Ashley Connors conspire to get he pr out of the city and force her to visit her friends family farm. The fresh air will do her good they say.

What they didn't account for was the anything BUT soothing presence of Ashley's older brother aka Mckenzie's childhood nemesis Daniel Connors.

One thing is certain and that is that Daniels never been good for Mckenzie's blood pressure.
