Mature
It was a tradition, one that has been happening for years before I was even a thought in my parents minds. A tradition where were wolfs come to find their mate, their human mate if they can't find one in the other packs. This only happens with the males of the packs, usually the higher ranking ones. For some reason they are never able to find their mates in their own pack so they come here, to find her. It was quite a simple processes, the males would come at sunset and the females would be dressed in their virgin white dresses waiting to be chased by their mate. Most of the girls are happy when they reach the age of 17 to be apart of the ceremony, however I am not. This is because I don't want to be someone's mate, I don't believe people should be owned. Either way today was the day that I would be running from my mate, trying to save my freedom.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past.
