Soulmates have been around for as long as anyone can remember. When you're born you either have a soulmark or you don't. If you don't it means your soulmate isn't born yet. Roy was 14 years old when he got his it made him nervous, his soulmate was 14 years younger than him. What if his soul mate didn't want to be with Roy after seeing how much older Roy was than them. His souls mark was simple, it was on his hip.
