One Kingdom.

One Prince.

One Competition.

When the Crown Prince of Norcrest throws a competition for all the aspiring designers, Lydia grasps at the opportunity, her best and most probably the only shot at staying back in Norcrest

But just like everything else that seem to suddenly go wrong in Lydia's life, there's an assassin attack on the prince and Lydia happens to be the only one with him that night.

Someone wants Lydia gone.

At least that's what she thinks until she sets out to clear her name, and all of a sudden --a forgotten history, a broken prince and friends who she thoughts were enemies unravels. With her heart now belonging to another who can never be hers, Lydia finds herself doing something she never thought she would.

Staying back and fighting.

If there was a competition to win the prince's heart and become the queen wold you enter? it seems like a simple answer, but not for Emily. Emily is a six, which means she has been looked down upon and shunned by society for her whole life. her mother beleives the only way to change this is to enter the upcoming competition. Sure it will solve their money problems for a while but is it worth all the constant attention, and not all positive. anyways, by watching the report every friday for her entire existence she has learned that the prince only cares about appearances and what social caste you are in. Will Emily risk it all to save her family? Is she wrong about the prince or is he as self-absorbed as he seems? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The book was inspired by The Selection which was written by the amazing Kiera Cass.
