She's young, she's naive, and with almost no experience in love. She has witnessed her family crumble before her very own eyes, and her only best friend lose her life - all in the name of love. It was all until she met a boy, which at first she was determined not to let him make a difference in the course of her life. But eventually she gave the boy a place in her heart, although it was a hard thing to do. She gave the boy everything, her heart, her body, just to find out that the boy whom she thought was perfect was just like every other guy- she got her heart broken, the pain although wasn't physical, felt worser than how she expected it to be. Mending the wounds, she vowed to never trust again, she became a whole new person- breaking hearts and shattering souls of countless people as the shadow of her first love haunted her. Years later, she met a girl and was reminded of her old self. Fighting back the urge to mark the girl's heart with scars and then leave it torn and tattered like how her first love did, she did what a normal person with a heart would do- that is, to love the girl.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
