She is completely alone. Until one day Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's Manager and longtime friend of Allison's mother, calls her up and offers her a job. Skeptical, she doesn't know if she can pick up everything she knows to go to Detroit to work with the rapper making a name for himself. Allison is serious when it comes to her work, will working with Marshall and his crew be something she can handle? Set in 2009.

#1 on Eminem hashtag as of May 9th, 2023 Sometimes not existing is a useful tool, it keeps you out of trouble, keeps you secretive and stops you from developing useless emotions. But what if you had a chance to exist to only one person, just them? Would you take that chance? "I don't know, it doesn't matter." - Mallory is twenty and is living a life no one knows of. She's not doing anything specifically risqué, other than a big art project. In her eyes, she does not exist to those outside of her apartment, which means no one. However, when Marshall Mathers moves in to the apartment beside her, they get into a little spat, setting off an "annoying" series of interactions. His curiosity in regards to her instantly engages. Their personalities seem comedically abstract to one another as Marshall attempts to understand the cynical Mallory, while she is just trying to get him out of her life. Well, at least that's what she's trying to convince herself. [Warning for sexual content]
