Azura Themia had a choice. Her friend lies comatose in the hospital, and if it wasn't for her, he wouldn't be there now. To make things right, she needs to make a new choice, and in a futuristic society where advanced technology and magic coexist, and with a mind like hers, the possibilities are limitless. However, when a young alchemist Frey Kemi stumbles into Azura's life, she decides to put the stability of her finances, relationships, and personal safety all on the line to rob the man who caused her and her friend so much pain. When the heart becomes muddied with anger, the right choice starts to become unclear, but no matter what path she takes Azura is certain of one thing: she will even the score. Whatever it takes. *** This story is a cyberpunk drama, with a heavy focus on dialogue. Everything this story is to me is the characters. There may be sci-fi fantasy fun included, but the center of it all is a story about terribly troubled people who are just trying to feel better about themselves. Each chapter is split into "parts", and each chapter is a bit "slow burn". I am a new writer, and appreciate all feedback! I want to tell a good story, but above everything I want to tell my story. I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy sharing the fear, joy, pain, and tenderness of these characters' lives.
