There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.

So that's just a part from the book! It's basically about Kate that was in a car accident and lost her mom but her dad left and doesn't want anything to do with them. It was a miracle that she even survived. So now she lives with her Grandparents and her identical twin brothers, Jake and Joshua both 9, and her little sister Ashley, age 7. And basically, her five best friends Paisley, Sarah, Scarlett, Bella, and Emy. Now, Kate doesn't know how she got out of that car reck. But on the first day as a Junior, she is drawn to a mysterious guy who seems to know everything about her. Now, she is seeing a whole new world that no one has ever discovered before... Will she be able to discover these new powers and save the rest of those she loves?

So many decisions, so little time, as the saying goes. Oh... That's wrong? Too bad. That's Amethyst's version. She will consider one person in this ordeal to be her friend. He's helped her from the beginning. And there is one more twist. You know those cliched werewolf stories where the girl is abused and then she runs away and finds her mate and lives happily ever after? Yeah, there's a twist on that, too. You'll see.
