Malia Mason is an ordinary 17-year-old girl. She has a crazy best friend, a loyal boyfriend who's captain of the baseball team, and a group of Seniors trying to follow in step with Malia and her passé-almost like a shadow. But maybe there's something in the shadows after all.
Malia finds herself being betrayed with every step she takes. She is being dragged into a mess that can go unsolved-left alone and forgotten-or is a mystery that must be cracked-walk the path... Or maybe the truth is it's really "kill or be killed".
