The Boundary around the city of Eastwood makes sure of two things - no one gets in, and, unfortunately for street rat Leo Shrike, no one gets out.

Leo has been on the run for as long as he can remember. Not from something in particular, but from everything. It would spell the end for him if someone found out who he is, or even worse, what he is. A freak. Damaged. Gloves can't hide his monstrosities forever and he knows it. Medication can't keep him from going crazy. He's a ticking time bomb, and he could snap at any moment.

As war threatens to close in on the US and the citizens of Eastwood start to rise up against their government, things start to look bad for Leo. The city's dark underbelly is about to come to light, and that light could uncover him as well.

No secrets can be kept forever.
