Helena lives a terrible life on her family's farm, but once she escapes, she faces the real world, and it's not at all what she and her sister had hoped for. Thanks to a new band, called My Chemical Romance, she is able to find what true love is, regain her memory, and find her past. And maybe, perhaps, a little more insight into why she can influence everyone outside her family into loving her so much, and why those horrible 'demons' from her past are so insistent on finding and killing her and her family.
