I reached for the last pair of headphones and another hand grasped them too. I follow the hands to a face. A face with a sweet smile and pretty blue eyes. We both pull our hands back at the same time.
"You can have it," I offer.
"No, it's fine. You can have it," he says, flashing that sweet smile once more.
"Are you sure?" I ask uncertainly.
"I insist, Miss..." he says, waiting for my name.
"Thank you. And it's Alexandria Rhodes," I say, my hand reaching for the headphones.
"Well it was a pleasure to meet you Alexandria," he says, spinning on his heel and walking away.

Little did she know that the boy with the pretty blue eyes would change her in ways she thought unimaginable.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19

"Then, tell me. What do you think about love?" "I do not know what to think of it. It is indescribable. I have only experienced paternal and maternal love. I can not give you a complete answer." Jack's heart beats faster. He has never been in love? If he, perchance, fell in love with Jack, they would be each other's first loves. Is it not beautiful? To long, to teach and to learn how to love? "Romantic love is beautiful." Jack smiles. "You go to extraordinary lengths for the one you love." His eyes focus on his glass. Zach then dares to ask: "Are you in love, Jack?" Christ, he will never get over the fact that his name rolls out of his lips so effortlessly. It is refreshing hearing his call him. It is like a gentle breeze on a hot summer day. The Viscount looks at him, his dark brown eyes piercing his sweet honey ones. His smile fades to a deep expression of seriousness. It is you I am utterly in love with. I love you. "Madly in love, Zachary." He admits. "Utterly, deeply, devastatingly, obsessively, ardently in love." with you. The gardener smiles fondly. His voice is quiet."Your eyes hold so much emotion. It is beautiful, indeed, to see someone in love."
