A jokester that can fire off bullets and puns in rapid succession and with awesome precision -- that's how most people would describe Cait Jones, bounty hunter extraordinaire and crack shot with any firearm.

After she messed up a bounty hunting job one too many times, Cait's boss forces her to work with two fellow hunters to make sure she doesn't mess up again. When the next job reveals a mysterious and deadly conspiracy, the (slightly dysfunctional) trio must race against time to stop a morally corrupt mercenary and a race of genocidal aliens (because who *doesn't* want to be hunted down by killer aliens at some point in their life?) before it causes the deaths of millions of people.

Trust is a fragile thing. Slow to form, easy to rip apart. For Jora Dame, it couldn't be more true. At barely sixteen, she was accused of a crime she didn't commit and nearly lost her life for it. When she realizes the Jedi are far from what they're supposed to be, Jora leaves the Jedi Order and few remaining friends to start a new life. As time passes, pieces of her past resurface, whether she likes it or not. With Order 66 happening, keeping her past identity hidden is harder than ever. The galaxy is dangerous now more than ever, the only option for surviving seeming to be trusting again. But that might be too much for Jora. "A crew member," he started to explain. "Or, you know, partner, I guess. I'm doing this job for someone, might need your help. What do you say?" "I'll pass," I said once I'd put the credits into a pouch with the rest and stuffing it into one of my many pockets. "I don't work well with people." "You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. "Okay," I said finally. "I'm in."

Ranked #1 in Action, #1 Adventure, #2 in Sci Fi "Whatever you do, don't let your blood run cold." "And if it does?" "Run. Run like hell. Run away from everyone you ever cared about." +++++++++++++ Jessie Daniels is just like you. She uses reading as an escape from her average, bookworm life. She envies and wishes for adventure and romance from the heroes in stories. But what she doesn't realize is that her wish is already granted before birth. Her parents, known as the country's best cops, aren't who they say they are. Suddenly, a simple game turns into Earth's greatest heart-stopping battle between two of the world's most dangerous men. Both are ruthless gang leaders who each rule a dominant continent: Asia and North America, and stop at nothing to get what they want. And they want Jessie Daniels. Not for her money, not for her looks, but for what she has. For what she is. --- "Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes. . . the ones who see things differently---they're not fond of rules. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them, because they change things." -Steve Jobs
