Rebecca had finally gotten out of Chicago, where her nightmare of an ex boyfriend lived, along with another ex boyfriend that was dating the former foster mother of her baby, and pretty much hell itself. 

She was ready to start anew and she needed to support her child, Kazuno. New job, new home, new Rebecca. 

But when Rebecca thought she finally escaped Chicago, she found another person, trapped in the past and heartbroken. 

Little did they know, they were running from the same people, and the same place.

That's not all, though. Another guy, found Rebecca. Very accidentally. He drunkenly knocked on her door mistaking it for his friend's. She let him in, cared for him, and let him stay the night. She didn't realize he needed more than just that. He was broken on the inside. And he needed to mended.
