Ahren was standing there still, but his knuckles and face were completely covered in blood.  I began to take a step towards him but quickly realized that the blood wasn't his.

My heart stopped immediately. My eyes darted to his hands, his knuckles had blood on them and I was afraid that it wasn't his blood. I also noticed blood splatters on his bright white top he was wearing. A gasp slipped out of my mouth and his eyes darted down to his top.
