Starla was anything but excited to be dragged to a party by her cousin post her first day at a new school.
Just as she was incidentally not too excited when your not so average teenage games get her noticed by a cute quarterback.
Or that her radical chugging skills to avoid dares causes her to pass out at his house.
Or that her cousin never bothered to drive her home...

Not too cliché, but standard enough to enjoy.

I can not be held responsible for the trouble they will cause.

Games in the book are ill advised, read at your own risk.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.

(Book one of the rollercoaster love series) This is my take on the cliche (albeit awesome) football & cheerleader, best friend's brother, boy next door, bad boy & good girl, high school love story. *"Just being with you helps me," he whispered. He ran the back of his hand along my cheek. He leaned down and softly put his lips on mine. I put my hand on his cheek. I kissed him back for a moment before pulling away from him. I leaned my forehead against his. "I'm sorry." "No it's not that. We don't kiss when one of us isn't clear headed, that's the rule." "We have rules now?" he asked. I nodded. He hugged me tighter and laid his head against my shoulder. "What are our rules?" "We don't kiss when one of us isn't clear headed." He nodded and put one finger on my thigh. "We uh we don't kiss other people." He put a second finger on my thigh. "We don't take our anger out on each other." he kissed my shoulder and put a third finger onto my thigh. "We don't go further than kissing." he chuckled putting a fourth finger down. "And when we figure out what we want, we have to tell the other." His hand was now on my inner thigh. "And that's five."* This is the story of two childhood best friends. Leia Evans, the good girl, the head cheerleader, the girl every girl wants to be, the girl every guy wants to get with, and his corazón. And Nick Torres, the bad boy, the star wide receiver, the guy every guy wants to be, the guy every girl dreams of being with, and her brother's best friend.

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. COMPLETED, CURRENTLY EDITING/PARTIALLY REWRITING (please excuse the mess. Some of the plot is being changed so there might be a few areas that get confusing, nothing too much though) Funny how life decides to act like a roller coaster. The ups and down come in a split second. You can't decide whether you want fast or slow. Dangerous or steady. But you don't get a choice. You go with the flow. No matter what. I'm Phoenix Wood, the misfit, and outcast of my town. Instead of a roller coaster my life's more like a train wreck. My adventure loving parents were lost at sea and I was left to my aunt Clare Small. Like I said, train wreck... Not roller coaster, TRAIN WRECK. Not to mention the fact that I end up stuck with the bad boy. Could it get any worse? Secrets unravel and life gets a bit more complicated that it used to be. But it must go on. She's stuck with the bad boy. Or is it the other way around? Maybe he's stuck with the bad Girl... * WARNING: this book is my first work, it'll be a bit rough at the start and sometimes I'll accidentally mess up the story line or it will seem ridiculously stupid, so read at your own risk (I will admit, this book is like my baby, so please be kind when correcting my errors). It gets much better about half way through. If you'd like to read a book of mine that is much better written, go to my profile and find the book Breathe Me. Thanks! Ally is a very cool chick. She's smart, down to earth, feisty, funny, and perceptive. She may or may not have a ghost on her side - do you believe? Ally's not falling for false charm and lies. When three guys at her posh new school make her the target of a sex bet, she busts them and takes the money. That's just the start because now these guys claim to be madly in love with her. Is it just a bigger bet? Is she the most challenging prey they will ever hunt? She thinks so and isn't going to fall for it. She tries to ignore them, but some of them aren't giving up. If you've ever wanted to slap a girl in a story for falling into a trap, you'll love Ally. What if it's not a trap? What would it take to convince a smart girl? How does a poor lovesick guy prove he's changed? Can he redeem himself if he has? Should he ever be forgiven? Many clichés are turned around in this story. The girl isn't gullible. The current popular girl threatened by Ally's rising stardom isn't really a witch. Parents aren't evil. Even the school sluts aren't that bad. Bad boys may or may not be as bad as they appear, but nothing happens overnight. It will take all school year and maybe the summer as well to sort it out, but the journey will be interesting and funny. This isn't a story where the girl falls for the bad boy and forgives him with impossible ease. Instead, she'll teach all the boys several lessons and just maybe make them better men. But I don't promise you'll never want to slap her. When you aren't stupid, this world can turn you paranoid. Warning: Steamy scenes, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Young Adult / New Adult, Romance, Comedy, Paranormal Length: 113,588 words This book has been published on Amazon. The first ten chapters will be updated to what you get in the published novel and will remain here, so you can try before you buy.
