Feather is a young loner in the forest. Her mother Echo always told her tales of four Clans of cats known as ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ShadowClan. Feather's father was a WindClan warrior who taught Echo all about the Clans, and Echo passed down those stories to Feather. But dreadfully, Echo was killed by a band of foxes.

One night, as Feather was sleeping, she awoke in StarClan only to be given a baffling message. Now Feather must decipher what it means to truly understand the depth of Clan life.
