Skur is a modern day viking living on an island nobody has discovered. But this island contains a big secret that would scare and amaze the whole world if someone would find out.
Dragons.
But that's not the best part. This island also contains many dragon riders and people who dream to be one.
That's why there has been made a Dragon Academy where you can learn everything about dragons. From the easiest things to the hardest only a true dragon rider would know.
But what special there is about Skur? It's her father and the big secret she takes with her to the academy.
It has been her long dream to ride a dragon because all her life they have been by her side like true friends.

____
This really was my dream and inspiration to it I got from "How to train your dragon" animation. But it's not fan fiction because none of those characters are here. It's just the similarity with dragons and Vikings.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

#1 hiccupxreader Warning: LEMON, also, following this story will put you in major FEELS! I didn't change Hiccup or Toothless's personally btw:) summary- You knew Hiccup since you were children. You were the next ruler in line for your Island and hiccup was next chief in line for Berk. You'd fly your dragon from your island to Berk and meet in secret with Hiccup everyday deep in the woods. You were best friends. You'd tell each other everything. Throughout your teenage years, you were an inseparable couple. Everything was magical, until one day when you were being forced to marry a selfish man who everyone thought had the power to end a war. You loved only Hiccup, a man who no body on your island knew, or would ever approve of. Your strict parents would never let you marry a Viking. So you disappeared into a new far away place with your dragon, and you were never seen again. Hiccup and (y/n), an unbreakable bond. What happens when you are reunited with Hiccup and he is the only person that you want? Is it possible to make everything go back to normal, after you abandoned everything you knew? Was the new world where you truly belong? Or is it in Hiccups arms? I guess we'll just have to wait and see... -rude language, brief sexual content, gore descriptions- (Hiccup and Astrid are not dating in this story, but the whole gang are very good friends) Also, most of the artwork in this book isn't mine, notify me if you have credit/ it's yours.
