Seventeen year old Becca has a lot on her mind. With finals, the state soccer comp, a sort-of-boyfriend and her rebellious twin sister to juggle, she doesn't know how she's going to manage. I've decided to put this story on hold until further notice, because it just isn't creative and I'm not having fun writing it. Sorry.

The Quarterback
This is first a contemplative look at fiction in general, and then a coming of age drama in which circumstances aspire to keep two lovers apart. I had a vision for this story, which I realized very well through its characters and plot if I do say so myself. I am sure you will enjoy this, and the ending may surprise you, but it is all for a reason. The title stems from the hobby of our protagonist at the story's beginning; it is not about American football. The plot is the same as my former unfinished project "Hanging by a Moment"; certain things have been modified, but the main story is exactly the same. I hope that it makes you think as much as I had to think to write it.Complete

So what happens when a stupid school assignment puts her in close proximity with Jack O'Connor one of the hottest guys at her school? Becca knows Jack, he's a playboy. And she knows this because she lives in the same apartment building she does and sees the bevy of girls he parades around. Nothing good can come from this and she is determined to keep her distance from a boy who may just break her into un-fixable pieces this time. But the more Becca tells him that she wants nothing to do with him the more intrigued he is with her.Complete
