Daniel Dawson is coping with the loss of his parents. His largely Southern Aunt gives him no reprieve from the life he wants to leave behind, and his best friend is too distracted by the need for opportune fame - he is utterly alone. Until one day, when a potent rainstorm hits Blossom, Georgia, landing Daniel in the hospital. No one seems to know what happened, are how he got to the hospital on his own.

Things start to change. Daniel starts having near death experiences and vivid nightmares where he is met by a mysterious girl with messages for him, warning him about the next experience. She - a stranger - becomes the reason he survives time and time again. What Daniel thinks is a figment of his imagination soon becomes real and not everything is how it once seemed.

It is a story of adrenaline, mystery, and every reason why karma always comes back around.
