I Can Prove It (A Short Lost One-shot)

You know Kate's story and how the Marshal's life ended. But what if she hadn't asked Sawyer to shoot him? What if they found stronger antibiotics and he wasn't doomed to an early and painful death? Kate did seem to genuinely are about him, even just a little. She put the mask on his face, asked if he was in pain, wanted it to be quick and painless, she cared even if it was just a bit. Things would've been much different if Edward Mars had survived.

This is just a one-shot but I recently rewatched the first few episodes of Lost and realised that they had an interesting relationship. I just think things could've and should've gone differently, the Marshal had a lot of potential. He could've witnessed that Kate is a good person, you'll see.
