Death
[deth]
Noun

1. The act of dying; The end of life; The total and permanent cessation of all vital functions of an organism.

Look it up. Death by any definition could be applied to Ember Wes on December 15th 2006. Her heart couldn't beat. Her brain couldn't think. Her lungs couldn't take in oxygen. Her body couldn't move. Dead. Despite all of this, on May 21st 2017, Ember's feet walked through Earths rich soil. Her hair flew in the wind. And the sweet air filled her lungs. Scientists had been secretly researching how to bring the dead to life. To most, it was a miracle. But to some, it was wrong. They believe dead should stay in Irkalla. And they are willing to do anything to make it so.

Suhaib couldn't agree more with that statement, as he witnessed the horrific scene in front of him. He had been a complete fool; he had thought that he would be a good influence to his so-called friends, yet he had been unaware of the danger that lurked in the future. As the time had passed, he had realised that they were harmful, but never had a situation like this cross his mind; never had he thought that he would experience such a heart wrenching sight. The cold breeze swept past him, that caused the hairs on his nape to rise. The wind howled as if grieving along with him for the loss he experienced. The leaves rustled in the vicious storm. The clouds poured down their burdens, mourning along with him. He stared down at the horrific site. Her body was cold and lifeless, sprawled upon the floor, like a discarded piece of insignificant trash. His heart pounded wildly in his chest - the pain he experienced was so raw, he felt as if his very own heart had been torn out and trampled upon multiple times. He knew the image of her lifeless body and horrified face would forever be imprinted in his memory, and no matter how many years would pass, the pain would forever be embedded in his heart. He slumped down beside her cold body. Tears streaked his face, his vision blurred, his heart felt as if it was snatched out of his body; leaving him barren and hollow. He looked down upon her body that was stained in scarlet; her face had been mercilessly bruised and cut. The only girl he ever loved so dearly stared at him with lifeless, horror-struck eyes, drowning in a pool of her own blood.

(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close. 31 parts Complete Mature

The darkness of the past catches up to the present and looms over the future. The now-grown undead god meets someone from his past for the last time in his infinite life. An ancient artifact that unlocks a hidden ability comes into his possession and will stay with him throughout his infinite life. Excerpts: Hearing that title broke him from his mental preoccupation. _Oh, no. Not her. Not with these people._ Glancing around the table, he saw that everyone was looking at him, overtly and covertly, watching and waiting for his reaction. ... The young god stood up in excitement. _It just talked to me! I'm talking to it! This is so weird. What else can I ask it?_ ... _What should I say? I should say something, right?_ "Umm... Hi!" he managed to say. He stopped himself from wincing at his awkward greeting as he felt every eye in the room on him and maintained a casual and relaxed facade. _'Hi'? Really? After not seeing her for so long, all you can say is 'Hi!'? Say something else._ "I came here to see you." _No, idiot. Say something less obvious._ "And, uhh, talk to you." _What's wrong with you, self?_ ... "I don't know. I don't really know what to do anymore. I've done terrible things to him but I don't know anymore if I did the right thing."
