A young girl in New York lives with her parents who don't spend much time with her. She spends most of her time in writing in her room. When she receives news that her dad has , coronary artery disease and that she has to stay with her aunt Luna for a few weeks she thinks it will be terrible. But, she's pleasantly surprised. Then everything takes a turn for the worst. She is then faced with a life changing decision. Does she really want it to go back home to the pain of the past?
