Every song has a story. Natalie Clark, a free-spirited tomboy, sings her stories. Laura Jones is a high-spirited, dedicated artist. Her life is an empty canvas, on which she throws all the paint to make it colorful. Being best friends with Natalie, Laura gives her songs more meaning, whereas Laura's canvas looks more beautiful because of Natalie. Having lived through everything together, the girls think they know their way around Arindale, until they get into SpringCoast. Will they have to change their ways? Does that change their "eternal bond" of friendship?
