After a explosion, metahumans emerge and take sides as heroes and villians. For Amery Tyler, she's gained a close friendship with one of the superheros named Cavalier, but nothing was romantically pursued on either end for good reasons...until his arch enemy wants his head on a stick and someone turns in the hero's secret identity. To save the boy she loves, Amery is forced to work with the hero's sidekick who unfortunately has a scary resemblance to someone she knows.
