Stacy's intention is clear. She wants to turn the page and start a brand new life. Stacy wants to forget about the invasion of her step mother, Leorna, living with them.Even though she suppresses it in her memory, Stacy still remembers that tragic night when her mother died and how her mother told her to promise her one thing. But as the sun sets and the moon rises, Stacy is haunted each night by what her mother said to her before she died. No matter how hard she tries to forget, Stacy's world gets weirder and weirder. She doesn't know what to believe any more until she attempts to find refuge in the warm arms of James, her smoking hot class mate at Norridge boarding school. Everything seems to be fine with James around, until she finds out one day that he can no longer be trusted. What will Stacy do? Will she try to forget everything, like she did before... or will she fulfill her mother's dying wish?

My mother always told me when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When someone knocks you down, you get right back up. You fight the good fight until you have nothing left. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past. Only problem is, the past is never truly forgotten and no matter how hard you try to shake them, the feelings that go along with the memories don't just fade away. ~ * ~ Alright, chickens. You asked for it (some of you at least) and here it is...well...part of it. Like I've told a few of you, this is a work in progress. I add pieces to it when I think of them. The posting on this story will NOT be regular but thankfully for you, I have quite a bit of it done. I just haven't decided if the path I take it down is the right one. So. I hope you enjoy it and I will give you a forewarning that as the story progresses, it gets a bit more adult. For those of us just joining the party because they stumbled across it in the Paranormal category, there is a whole series of books you have to read until you get to this one. Go start with The Beginning. You can find it under "My Works" on my home page.

Helens-of-Troy

33 parts Complete

Fifteen year old Goth-Chic Ellie has a lot of explaining to do. She's just moved to the small town of Troy, fought with her uptight mother Helen, met the boy of her dreams and found a dead body on her sexy "new-age" grandmother Helena's porch. All on the first night! But Ellie's not alone. Helen is hiding something. Helen knows all about the kind of eerie dreams her daughter is having - the dreams that show the whereabouts of the missing children of Troy - because she's had them herself. But she'll never admit it. Not while Ellie's sex-crazed friend Ryan is safely behind bars for the murders. Helen knows what it's like to be attracted to dangerous men. Then there's the little matter between Helena and Gaspar BonVillaine, the teenaged vampire who is learning to feed on young prey. Now that he's caught Ellie, he doesn't know whether he wants to kill her or turn her to the dark side and keep her forever. Helena should have finished him off when she had the chance. To survive the vampire feeding frenzy surrounding them, mom Helen needs to come to terms with her own insecurities and deal with the gifts she has. Helena must learn to ground herself for the good of mankind and more importantly her own family. And Ellie has the toughest choice of all. Ellie must decide whether its time to let her own childhood go and become the woman she is destined to be, one of the ageless and timeless "Helens of Troy".
