As the present Percy is still trying to figure out what he's suddenly doing in a Roman camp with only the name "Annabeth" left in his memory, his friends way back at camp were also suddenly summoned to Olympus. They're all done reading the first year of his life as a demigod in Camp Half-Blood, which the book from the Fates was entitled "The Lightning Thief", they're currently dwelling on his second year, which is also the second book called "The Sea of Monsters". As Annabeth finds herself in awkward situations where the past Athena and the past Aphrodite becomes suspicious whether her and Percy were really just friends or more, their friends, most specifically Thalia Grace, keep dropping hints here and there a couple of times that really doesn't help her situation.
