In Eve's media-ruled world, turning 18 means you are finally allowed to choose which channel you want to watch, and by doing so, to decide what kind of world you inhabit: a heartwarming one in which neighbors help each other out like her mother, a world on the brink of the end-times like her father, a bohemian theme park like her brother, or something else.
