Love is Dead

My heart found serenity in the way that she smiled even though she was in pain. Torment had defeated her heart one too many times and now she's trapped in her mind trying to alleviate pain from a scar that can never truly heal. She was the embodiment of what my mind perceived as "perfection", someone who was beautifully broken and I couldn't wait to break her even more.
