Alex is a Given. Chosen by The Goddess at birth for a special reason. As a Given, shes born with a green and brown eye, though her parents didn’t care for it, her grandfather protected her with colored contacts, for no one should know of her powers. She always wondered why her blood was translucent and shimmered gold, or why it never hurt when her dad broke her ribs.
A Given wolf is sent to Earth with a purpose, they cannot feel physical pain, and have different abilities varying from wolf to wolf. Alexs purpose is to teach a certain Alpha a lesson, the same Alpha who had ordered the previous Beta, her father, to kill her mother for speaking the truth, two months after Alex fled the pack, after setting the pack house on fire. For speaking against the disrespect and hatred towards the women of the Eastern Woods pack. But at this point, Alex has met her own Alpha, her mate, someone she wishes she never had met, the reason she takes pills every week, to mask her scent and avoid the man she's destined to be with, in fear of bringing him into her twisted life. Living in a mixed town (human/werewolf), where her best friend Tyler was waiting, was a place where she could buy time before she planned her attack on her old Alpha Jackson.. Alex and Tyler kept in touch and now, shes going to meet him in Birchton, a small town surrounded by three powerful packs.
Damien Knightly is a secret softie, with a hardcore exterior who is keen on making Alex his, whether she wants to or not. But Damien isn't letting her go that easily. Even if it means reeling her in by kidnapping.

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
