Let's start off with a man..., a man who looks average, just ordinary looking, working, mid 20's about 25 or 26, striving to fit in. Hmmm, it would be more interesting if something "not" ordinary happens like... hmmm, like he developed super natural powers? ... Nah, an encounter with an alien being? ... maybe, but we would like to start normal. He goes to work, eats his lunch, go out with his friends, sleeps at night... Super boring, how could that be... but somehow, somtime, I would think of something... Maybe a road to stardom! A transformation from being normal to something extra-ordinary.
To start off, let's him a name... the main character would be... Jake? Justin? Jerome? Hmmm, I like "J's" so I think "Jed" would be cool, it saves up typing, and easier for other characters to mention, to call, to have thought of, to utter, whatever... Jed, the main character is born.
How about Jed's personality? He must be well mannered or with a touch of wit, touch of weirdness found in every one of us. He's simply thoughtful, jolly... sounds just like somebody I knew...
Anyways, I think the reader would eventually find out his personality when riding along the ride of the story. Let that alone would be some kind of journey, whew! It's a story already.
