When disaster strikes in Lacy's home town, she is forced to live temporarily in a Red Cross shelter for the homeless. While at the camp, Lacy meets Brandon, a Red Cross volunteer. They meet briefly several times, but it soon becomes clear that Lacy and Brandon are attracted to each other. Lacy doubts she will ever be able to love again after she loses everything in the disaster. Will Brandon help her overcome the many obstacles standing in between their complicated love?
