Princess Akira was born as the second twin of the Mer King and Queen of the western seas. Her older sister, Oliver, is the heir, and has trained all her life to become the next ruler of her large kingdom. But, when a royal assassination causes the older Princess to fall ill and die, Akira then spends countless days and night training quickly to learn the basics of ruling in time to become the next queen on her 18th birthday. On top of racing against the clock, Akira is hidden away in a humble home in a small bay side town in order to protect her from any further attemts on her life.
With time running out, and the unfurling of death's dark shadow over her, Akira must learn fast and run faster.
Warning. I wrote this using romantic, PG scenes. There are also LGBTQ+ love interests as well. There is death and sickness. (As written above) This is why my story is rated mature.

Bianca's father died after she finished her national service, and it was quite difficult for her as she had to take on the responsibilities of taking care of her sick mother and siblings. At that time, before the death of her father, who was the breadwinner of the family and responsible for taking care of his sick wife and family. But when her father died, the weight was so heavy on her that she didn't have a job or money to sustain herself and her family, or even to pay for and perform all necessary burial rites. Oyinola Adebayo, who is Bianca's friend and whose parents are wealthy, assisted in taking care of her father's burial rites and Bianca's mother's hospital bills.
