It has been a while since Rosalina saved the mushroom kingdom, everything has returned to normal... well kind of.
Waluigi and Shawn knew that they had to get jobs since kart racing wasn't that rewarding anymore. So they followed their childhood dreams and went to become detectives (and since the mushroom kingdom didn't have any, they got hired instantly).
This book is filled with many exciting stories and mysteries. Why does Waluigi get weird burns all over his body every time he wakes up? Who is haunting him from his past? Who is the lucky Shy-Guy that Shawn's interested in? And will that clumsy Toadette be of any help at all to Waluigi's team? Well, let's find out!

This is a continuation of ''A world of chaos and cheaters'', if you haven't read it yet then go check it out, it will probably be alot easier to understand certain things then. This book is a compilation of different small stories, some of them are just one chapter long but some are three chapters or longer.
