Ryan Cevas is starting high school. She's made honors classes, is a bit of an athlete, and has a good reputation. Well, other than the fact that she's probably the least popular girl in school. Though, she has a dream about her future, to be a singer, that no one other than her best friend Serena knows. When she's encouraged to go try out for the spring musical, her life takes a turn.
Cade O'Connell is the starting quarterback for the schools football team. He's been surrounded by beautiful women who would date him in a heartbeat. Everyone knows who he is, and he hangs out with the most popular guys in the school. He's never said a word to an honors student, and had no idea that a musical even existed in the school.
